Pit-Bulls!!!
I am so sick and tired of pit bulls having such a bad reputation =( there are so many of them at shelters just because of the label people put on the breed. They can be trained.. not only that, but they aren’t born vicious.. people make them that way. Please give them a chance and encourage others to do so as well. thanks!

I have been very busy networking animals on facebook and sending emails to various rescue groups. I thought this would be a good networking tool but I do not think it is. What do you guys think?
I was hoping people would reblog and send to friends and family members. I do not want to flood the dashboard with animals in need so I haven’t… but there are sooo many! please get the word...

hey guys! I am in the midst of making some life changing decisions right now. I am thinking of ending it with my boyfriend of 12 years!! I just do not see us ever being at the place of getting married…
i have a lot to think about so sorry for being MIA..

I am sooo thrilled that the weekend is finally here!! I have mentioned Angels for Animals Network before and wanted to let everyone know that we (the numerous people who help save animals in danger of being put to sleep) did an amazing job this week in saving animals!! There are tons and tons more but we did what we could do =)

She had been very ill for several days following her shelter spay but with the help of a catheter, fluids, lots of medication, a rotisserie chicken and some wonderful vets she eventually started eating enough to build up her strength and be allowed to go to her new home to...

Angels for Animal, the organization I have mentioned before, posted a bunch of pictures on facebook of animals who were not rescued in time =(
It is beyond heartbreaking to see there poor faces and the sad look in their eyes. They were killed for no reason.

There has been so many reports of animal abuse in the news lately…. I was thinking what good can come of it..
The only thing I could think of was that it would spread awareness. People need to know what goes on so they can help! Many people are not aware of the abuse that goes on daily, and now they will be.. i hope!

I had a wonderful weekend! Things def turned around and are shaping up =)
Lucian, the dog who was found starved in a basement, is now walking! and has gained a lot of weight! things are looking great for him.
We found our dog, Bailey, a new dog walker and we met him yesterday… they fell in love with each other! it was great!

I just read an article about a dog named Smokey. His owners beat him with a bat and then ran him over with their car!!! How awful!!! When will this end?!?! the dog is alive, but he is very aggressive. I wonder why?!? Maybe because he has been beaten so many times.. now they want to put him too sleep. I think that is so unfair!!! he is the way he is for a reason, and there are places that will take...
